Academic Session: The college session begins from the 1st day of June and ends on 31st May each year, with the first term from June to December and the 2ndterm from January to May; Admissions are made after the publication of results of HSC and CHSE Examinations and continued till the last date as fixed by the Govt.
14. RULES OF DISCIPLINE
1. Students should come to college with proper dress code as specified bellow:
+2, Streams-Arts & Commerce-(Cotton Texture & Universal design uniform) Girls-Shalwar, Kamiz, and Chunri- as prescribed by the college. Boys-Trouser and Shirt – as prescribed by the college. +3, Streams-Arts & Commerce-(Cotton Texture & Universal Design uniform) Girls-Shalwar, Kamiz and Chunri- as prescribed by the college. Boys- Trouser and Shirt – as prescribed by the college.
2. Identity Card, College Calendar and Students’ Academic Diary go with the uniform and constitutes a part of it. Students have to produce their Identity Cards and college calendar for any verification to the competent authority on demand.
3. Students should take their seats before the Lecturer enters to the Class Room and without the permission of the lecturer concerned cannot leave the class so long as it continues.
4. No student shall loiter in the college Corridors; make any noise, or anything distracting the attentions of the lecturers / students attending the classes.
5. Disfiguring the walls/pillars/doors/Black Board/ Notice Board etc by any means is a crime. Any wall painting coming under graffiti is principal’s concern.
6. A student should behave in a disciplined manner to the Lectures, Co-collegiate students in the Class Room/College premises.
7. Students are advised to meet their Proctor concerned regularly and whose recommendation is mandatory in all Academic&Administrative transactions.
8. Students found in eve-teasing, Ragging, Sexual Harassment etc, shall be severely punished according to the law of the land. Any complain to this effect shall be immediately lodged with the Principal.
9.Any student who is absent from college/home examination such as Unit Test/ Terminal/ Test Exam etc, without obtaining prior permission from the Principal will have to produce necessary documents, such as Medical Certificate,etc and to deposit a fine to the amount as determined by the staff council/ Board of Examination. Parents concerned shall be intimated in this regard.
10. Students are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner which will not be detrimental to the interest of the Institution.
11. For any breach of peace and discipline, a student can be fined or punished according to the College norms or to the law of the land or, as it deemed proper.
12. Student should be regular in attending their respective classes and for short of attendance i.e. less than 75%, appropriate action should be taken thereof.
13. No club or society could be formed /started /maintained in the name of the college or in the college premisesand no function could be organized without the approval of the Principal.
14. Students are required to keep their bicycles under lock and key in the Car shed provided for the purpose.
15. The Principal/ Proctor(s)may meet the parents/guardians and discuss with them about the welfare and progress of their ward. Guardians are cordially invited to meet the Principal and the staff, if they desireso within college hours.
16. Everyone should go through the college calendar in his/her interest.
17. The above rules set are only a summary of some of the common rules and is by no means exhaustive. The Principal is the final authority in all matters relating to College or any Allied society of the college. All the students are subject to subsequent changes by the Principal and check no things that such changes are necessary forthe interest and benefit of the institution.
